Inter Department Rajbhasha Shield Yojana has been introduced
at Unit.

Cash Incentive for doing the official Work in Hindi, is in
operation, under which Rs. 100/- is given for every
1000 Hindi Words used in day to day Official work. Every
year around 60 employees participating in this scheme.
4)
Hindi Competitions for our employees and township School Children
are Conducted every year and prizes are given on the
occasion of Hindi Day i.e on 14 September.

Facility of doing work in Hindi on computer, has been provided
by installing of Leap Office Package on Network.
6)
Hindi Books have been provided in T.I.C Library, HRD Centre,
Community Center and international Club Library.
7)
Maximum Nos of Forms / Proforma of Routine & Common nature,
have been converted in Bilingual ( Hindi - English)form.
8)
Half yearly Magazine " BHEL YASHASVI" is being published.
9)
A Film on BHEL, R C Puram, Unit's Rajbhasha activities, has
been prepared.
10)
BHEL R C PURAM HAS BEEN Awarded Rajbhasha NAVRATNA Shield,
Prerna Shield and TOLIC (Public Sector Undertakings)
1st Prize.
